This is our second rough draft we have added some fade to black transitions and added a voice over which makes the narrative slightly clearer and more understandable.

Voice over script

We have finally received word and information from the police about the recent murders that have been occurring across oxfordshire. After analysing the victims telephone records we have found a link showing that all victims have received a phone call from the same number. We have reason to believe that  this phone call was made by the suspected cyber killer moments before he murdered them. Police are doing all they can to catch the killer and unmask him once and for all before time repeats itself.

Sound effects and sound track.

For our trailer we decided to use a mixture of an incidental soundtrack and contrapuntal sound. In our trailer we have a duel narrative therefore we wanted to have two separate sound tracks to represent and juxtapose the two characters. The sound track that will be used for the antagonist narrative is a contrapuntal soundtrack from around the 50s era. The music will be classic and upbeat and will juxtapose and contrast the shots shown on screen. We found this idea from a show called Pretty Little Liars. On this show it features an secret masked antagonist. Within these shots contrapuntal sound is used to contrast and juxtapose the shot content. This adds a creepy atmosphere.

These are the times in the clip in which contrapuntal sound is used to create an eerie and creepy atmosphere.

Editing process

Overall the editing process for this sequence went very well. The shots that we collected all fit in together well and it created a fluid sequence that followed our story board. As well as editing these shots in the screen shoots we also added in the audio voice over of the antagonist to create more depth and dimension n the trailer. The voice over also adds to the narrative. These images are screen shots from the beginning of our project- since then we have added and put more clips into the trailer.

Filming Update

We have just completed a shoot with the antagonist character at my house. We filming some establishing shots of the outside of the house to set a location for the opening of the trailer. We also included some close up shots and extreme close ups which will add shot variation to the trailer. We found that the filming was quite successful and we included a variety of shots in seperate locations.

Filming Update

Over the course of the christmas holidays and study leave we didn't manage to film. We found it difficult to find a time and day over this time period as mock exams were occurring and our actors needed to take priority in their own work and revision. In order to boost up our trailer and add more content we will shoot some more shots in a different location with the antagonist.
