This is a film poster for the 2015 film Martian. This film is a space themed film and the main role is played by Matt Damon.This is one of the main posters used for the advertisement of the film. This poster is similar to the second copy however this one is more simplistic. The main purpose of this poster is to create a buzz for the upcoming film and to peak the audience's interest. From looking at this poster I can say that this imagery is quite powerful and exhibits to the audience that the image used for the poster is all they need to know about the film instead of typography detailing.
